Program Overview

The 2026 Winter Program at Politecnico di Milano's POLI.design Design Academy is a 2-week design thinking and innovation project. The program is designed for students to learn design thinking, service design, user research, and interaction design through a combination of lectures, case studies, and group work.

Program Details

• Program Duration: 2 weeks (January 25 - February 7, 2026)
• Program Fees: 24,600 yuan (including application fee, tuition, accommodation, and project management fees)
• Program Content: The program covers design thinking, service design, user research, and interaction design, with a focus on theoretical and practical applications.
• Program Schedule: The program includes lectures, case studies, design workshops, and visits to museums and design studios.
• Program Requirements:
  • Full-time undergraduate or graduate students
  • Age 18 or above
  • Good moral character and physical and mental health
  • Suitable for students in art and design majors or those interested in the program
  • English proficiency: TOEFL 70, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent

Program Features

• Theoretical and Practical: The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications through case studies and group work.
• Chinese Tutoring: Four Chinese tutoring sessions are provided to help students understand the course content.
• Foundation for Further Study: The program provides a foundation for further study abroad and helps students adapt to foreign teaching methods.
• Certificate and Award: Students who complete the program will receive a certificate from POLI.design Design Academy, and outstanding students will receive an award.
